Evaluation

At NDRMF, evaluation is the systematic and objective assessment of completed grant / project, and its design, implementation and results. The aim is to determine the relevance and fulfillment of objectives, development efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability. These assessments will be carried out by independent consultant / firm (third party) according to the internationally acceptable practices i.e. DAC criteria.

  • Third-Party Evaluations / Verifications

Independent evaluation / verification of NDRMF will also be carried out by engaging a third-party. The purpose is to verify and evaluate program achievements – claimed in annual progress reports – and report back to Donors and the NDRMF Board.

  • Reviews by NDRMF and/or Donors

NDRMF Donors (i.e. Asian Development Bank and SDC) conducts frequent / annual reviews of the funded projects. The review includes a desk-based review of relevant project documentation and field visits for face-to face interviews with key stakeholders and beneficiaries. The review mainly focuses on understanding the project context and progress against output indicators and work-plan milestones.
